OK, by now you know that I am no shill for anyone and I HATE running press releases.
But sometimes when I am sent them I find out things I didn’t know before.
With that in mind… here is something kind of interesting that you might want to know about.
Spin3, provider of mobile gaming solutions, say they are developing more powerful applications, and that’s always good news for players.
In an announcement from its headquarters in London, Spin3 said that it had launched the first play-for-real Blackjack native app on the Apple App Store.
This blackjack application can be accessed on iPhone, iPad and iPod. Initially it will be exclusively available to users in the United Kingdom and Ireland from the Microgaming online casino, poker and bingo operator 32Red.
The Blackjack native app features rich graphics and animation that includes a simulated three dimensional blackjack table and authentic casino background sounds.
It is available only in English. But I’m sure, in time, it will be available in other languages.
It is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later.
Matti Zinder, Head of Spin3, said, “The Apple App Store presents a huge opportunity for the mobile gaming world. We have worked hard to take full advantage of the hardware capabilities of iOS devices and directly tap into the massive established community of users, developing our award-winning games and technology for Apple’s leading mobile devices.”
A self serving statement, of course…but like I said, interesting.
He pointed out that gambling apps are a fast growing area on the App Store. Sports and roulette games are already very popular. Zinder was confident that this new native Blackjack app will do as well on the Apple App Store.
